Practice Manager Wanted: Animal Medical of New City

Animal Medical of New City is looking for a full-time, experienced, health care professional interested in growing their management skills.

 

We’re a progressive, well-respected practice interested in taking our superior medicine and client service to new heights, but we need your help to get there.  Here are the qualities that we’re looking for:

 

Management Objective: To coordinate superior, friendly, and efficient client and patient care by leveraging the very best our medical team has to offer.

 

More specifically, the successful manager will:

 

  • Manage the day-to-day activities in our facility, taking care that we have adequate supplies, equipment, functionality, and the teamwork to get our jobs done.
  • Provide vision forward by organizing meetings, bringing new ideas into the practice, facilitating discussions with team members, and having a big picture view of our operations.
  • Bring a desire to grow personally and professionally. With time and training, we expect you to think and act like an owner.
  • Organize monthly meetings to review standards of care and service protocols with the whole team.
  • Keep a record of continuing education and training requirements for all team members. Personally ensure that our team is learning and retaining important practice protocols and medical information.
  • Take full responsibility for our team’s overall performance.
  • Work with Halow Consulting to manage marketing, all HR responsibilities, and business growth initiatives.
  • Work with the medical director to ensure follow-through on his and other practice initiatives.
  • Complete regular schedules for the doctors and staff that reduce overtime and provide the practice enough coverage to meet its goals.
  • Accurately and timely prepare payroll.
  • Ensure an efficient inventory system.
  • Organize and accurately maintain our employee benefits program.
  • Lead by example.
